Woodland Play and Skills

Our mission is to help everyone enjoy their time in the woods. We accomplish this by engaging in playful activities among the trees and teaching essential skills that enrich our experiences in nature.

We offer a personalised service uniquely tailored to your specific needs, seamlessly integrating our diverse offerings to create the perfect solution for you.

Located in Bath, South-West England, we provide our services within a 10-mile radius.

Your children's happiness is our top priority

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy of playing in the woods. In this natural setting, they can explore freely within safe boundaries, build dens from fallen branches, construct shelters with tarpaulins, relax in hammocks, and fully engage with the sensory wonders of nature. We support this exploration by teaching practical knot-tying skills and offering suggestions to improve shelters when needed.

To build on this sense of freedom, we provide small group workshops focused on fire-starting, campfire cooking, woodcraft (with instruction on safely using sharp tools), and woolcraft. These activities allow children to learn useful knots and create beautiful decorations to take home as souvenirs.

By placing your child at the heart of our activities, we guide them in developing greater awareness while enhancing their ability to assess and manage risks independently in the future.
